Attention Participants and Fans of DESERT SCALE CLASSIC.
There will be no DSC22 on April 11, 2026, due to circumstances beyond our control.

We will be back - at a fantastic new venue, larger and BETTER than ever!!
It's so great, we're scrapping the old moniker (DSC21) and renaming the 2026 DESERT SCALE CLASSIC - - - - DSC XXII. Still our 22nd Annual event, just a different nickname to signify the BIG news!
DSC XXII will be held at our new venue . . . The MARTIN AUTO MUSEUM, 4320 West Thunderbird Road, Glendale, AZ 85306. A beautiful, first class automotive museum featuring more than 175 fantastic automobiles, it is the perfect venue for the best model car championship and swap meet in the Southwest!
It's a two-fer! Plenty of eye candy, activities, Carousel, game room, memorabilia, Jim's Model Shop, and DESERT SCALE CLASSIC XXII!

About DSC
The premier model car championship event in the Southwest USA, DESERT SCALE CLASSIC is in its 22nd year! A critically judged competition, it is a highly enjoyable day-long experience for automotive modelers, fans, and families. General Admission is only $10 for both DSC and Martin Auto Museum, Children 6 -12 are $5 for both, and Children 5 & Under are free.
Event History
From humble beginnings in 2005, the Cactus Car Modelers of Phoenix have hosted the DESERT SCALE CLASSIC Model Car Championship every year, even throughout the COVID pandemic years when the event was presented via an Online web-based format. The event has grown each year to become a favored destination for modelers from multiple Western states. DSC is a respected critically-judged championship.
